A Youth in Retrospect

When I was young, I played and discovered, but longed for freedom obtained with age.

As I grew, I cried and hurt. I prayed for things to get better.

At some point I became an adult and stopped praying. I stopped looking forward and began looking back, longing for that freedom by ignorance from youth.
